This is my initial review. I just had to make this comment that the author made a big mistake in giving instruction how to steer when reversing. This on page 16. Very blatant mistake, either this author never have to tow anything in the past or just made a mistake. I'm not an expert but would say experience in backing up when towing something. I have towed airplane when I was in military (USAF), travel trailer, & motorcycle trailer. I'm also a farmer now so I tow from fertilizer sprayer, farm mower, farming equipment trailer in an orchard, where you have to tow in tight places. I will add more to this review as updates if I find anymore error. Very disappointed with this book because of this. This makes me wonder if this author knows what he's talking about and really feel like not reading the rest of this book.

The real review should follow my trip so I could comment on how much the book helped, but that is at least several months away. So far, I like the layout of the book and the guidelines and resources it provides. The maps are great, and it is easy to scan to the end description of each site to see recommendations for lodging, meals, and public transport . One nit-pick so far: I plan to make hiking a big part of the trip, and the guide says I can get a map of the "Mullerthal" trail from a tourist office in Luxembourg . I have found this to be impractical . The tourist office will only accept a bank transfer of funds and that transaction costs $25 at my bank-- while the map cost is about 4 Euros, so I'll just pick it up in Luxembourg, while I would prefer to have it in hand prior to departure. I'm getting similar responses from other tourist offices when specific maps are requested. This is a nit-pick and I know I am probably old fashioned to want to assemble detailed paper maps of my destinations. Overall I am enjoying the guidebook.

I love sports romances! This is my first book by this author, and I have mixed feelings about it. The heroine was cute and dedicated, but very damaged and immature. I could not for one minute believe the hero could fall in love with her. The hero was fantastic from start to finish - handsome and sexy and sweet. Their chemistry was not believable. I thought the author's writing style was immature, written for high school or college girls, not adult women. The cliffhanger at the end was very disappointing. Had I known I would have to buy 3 books to get the full story, I would have passed. I won't reward the author and publisher for mis-leading me.

Despised Cliff-hanger. Nothing in the description stated it was not a stand-alone.Wait until the series can be purchased as a bundle.I despise cliff-hangers.

Both Brody and Kacie's moms add such realness to the story. The impact of their placement within the story is spot on. But the men... GAH! Brody's best friend/agent as well as his teammates may steal the spotlight a time or two and I pray, oh yes I pray, I get to read more about them all. Of course...there may be 3-4 others who will pull at your heart strings or send your blood pressure on hyper speed into the stratosphere. Love them. Hate them. They are all pertinent to the story and add so many dimensions. Room For You hits the mark on every literary level.After reading 200+ books this year, this one is a stand out. Beth Ehemann hit the proverbial ball out the legendary ballpark with Room For You! I am counting the days and nights until I get more of Brody and Kacie in book two, Room For More, out early in 2014.

What a cute story of a single mom with kids (twins to be exact) just trying to make ends meet. This seemed right up my alley and more realistic than many of the romance stories out there. But of course we have to have some sort of fantasy, and within that fantasy is our NHL player, Brody. Hot young and oh so good!Kacie is a young divorced mother with twins living at her mother's B & B with great friends an a comfortable life. In walks a good looking guy during a rain storm and turns her world upside down. When love has treated you not so well, you tend to shy away from it and question everything about the other people involved. And this is exactly the way this story goes. But Brody is strong and knows something is different about this woman and he wants to help her move on.While this story is somewhat predictable, I find it appealing in that there are kids involved and a man that just seems pretty darn normal and down to earth. It makes the story more tangible and "real". I loved all the characters (her mom and her "handyman" helper of the Inn are so cute and have such sage advice for the couple) and the connection they all have with Kacie and her twins. While she feels like she is by herself navigating the world, her "family" is there for her 100%. And that's what life is about. It takes a village!"My life isn't just about me anymore. I'm dragging two innocent little girls along on this ride, so I definitely have a pretty solid idea of what I want in a partner."Life is scary and things that are not predictable become questionable. But the way the two main characters banter and have a comfortable way about them makes the story flow sweetly. That's not to say there are many obstacles showing up in their way, but they still have a way with one another that makes their time together perfect.All in all, a good, safe read with some a killer of an ending. I wonder what will happen to these 2 and their families as they adjust to what has been dropped at their feet.

Excellent rune book. This is the 3rd or 4th different rune book I've gotten over the 25 years or so I've been reading runes. My last name is a rune and my ancestry is Nordic/Germanic so this is a passion of mine. I even have the whole runic alphabet plus a few bind runes tattooed into a design on my back. I got to see authentic ancient rune carvings in Sweden in 2010. This Nordic Runes book is an excellent mix of history and useful info for throwing readings. The author really knows his stuff, so it's not dumbed down, and it's a great choice for the experienced rune reader. Yet it's not too complex and confusing for someone just starting out. I paid full price for this. I was not given a product discount for an honest, unbiased review, or compensated in any way.

When you find an author that discusses esoteric topics with clarity, simplicity, and above all, experience and knowledge, you know you have found a good author. When that same author offers academic references and clearly stated personal opinions, you know you have found a great author. Mountfort falls under the second category.I really appreciate Mountfortâ€™s efforts to include a variety of different sources when discussing the Runes. I definitely got the feel that he is well researched and practiced and not just regurgitating what others have said.I like his writing style and honesty. Rather than paint some mystic associations he is down to earth and practical. His main intention is to introduce the divinational aspects rather than the magical and developmental ones. Though, he does offer a little bit on these as well.The authors correspondence section of the Runes gives us some traditional names, sounds, imagery, and definitions, as well as, the traditional poems associated with each Rune, their meanings, keywords, and myths/legends related with them. The myths and legends part I really liked. This is by far the best introductory book on the Runes I have come across.This is the fifth book on my suggested Rune Reading List:1. This guide book is an invaluable asset if you are going to start reading runes. It helps with a guide to how this divination came about, offers descriptions of what each rune means and even talks about how to make your own runes.There is so much information in this book and it is well written that anyone who is new to runes could easily get away with only having this book and not needing any other guide.

If you are new to Runes. Get this first before you get into Freya Aswinn or Edred Thorrson. It's awesome. Always keep it around. Honestly You won't be disappointed. Well written. Easy to understand yet gives you a great course in the runes. Also has a lot of historical information. For the reader of runes who isn't completely uneducated in runes and knows some. It's not a dumbed down version it's a concise well spoken book. +++++

A great take on the Nordic Runes. I have been runecasting since I was about 7, and this surely added much knowledge to my practice of using runes for divination and magic, and that really says something. I use this as a reference whenever I need it, and it is spot on for divination meanings, it also goes into making runes and using runes for magical purposes. I really find this to be a useful book of reference

I love this book. I like the way that it is organized, it's easy to use and I love the explanations it give for the runes. Includes lots of cool poems for each rune. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Two of my friends have since bought their own copy and are also very happy with it.

Another good divination handbook from Paul Rhys Montfort. He is a fund of good information, and even though I have been using runes for years, I have found some really good material. His format is very easy to use for reference material.

Maybe Iâ€™m just a sissy with runes.... my rating might be because runes are just not for me. The meanings behind each were just way too â€œdoom and gloomâ€ and rarely positive or even neutral so I didnâ€™t enjoy working with this book.
