This is a lovely book. you will love them for sure for how easy it is to prepare them.
Based upon what other reviewers wrote, I bought this thinking that it would have more medical / scientific info about fatty liver disease and helpful tips. It most certainly lacked that entirely.What it is: a compilation of three small cookbooks or so it seems. It includes breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts and smoothies, salads, pizzas, side dishes, pasta and noodles. I am very glad there are a good handful of each because I hope to find recipes that I can cook for each day of the week. The recipes don’t blow my mind by it is a good beginning. I also bought the cookbook by Alan Lawrence. It, comparatively speaking, had far less recipes however he touts being a nutritional scientist and chef that has had liver problems for years. He developed a diet geared toward healing the liver. He has too few recipes and they don’t sound good. I will sure a handful of the recipes regularly.This book deserves 5 stars because of the number of recipes. I don’t think that any of the recipes say sugar, instead honey ( I often use apple juice) and maple syrup. Please don’t use artificial sweeteners! Best wishes and good health to all!
