Picking up a few more copies for fishing friends. Not sure where my original review went so I'll post it again!Loved this book! As much as I enjoy reading endless tales of bold fisherman and unbelievable catches I find the stories in this a book a bit more relatable and humbling. The collection of tales put together in this book I think more honestly captures the true nature of fishing and the struggles of your every day angler.
This book is an excellent collection of stories and a must read for all fisherman.
This is an easy to read, well written and enjoyable book of tales built around fishing. One of the best that I have ever read. Pick it up before turning in, or during an afternoon break. It will transport you to a beach or stream instantly, and will leave you lingering there. Tomsfishingstories.com
I cannot give this five stars, in good conscience, because I did not read it. I brought this as a gift, for someone who loves to fish in their spare time. It made a great gift, especially as a hard back. The recipient seemed pleased with my choice.
I myself didn't read this but it was bought for my father who is and avid fisherman. He said he enjoyed the book and it was definitely intresting.
Quite regional, but once past that, an okay read. Well written and entertaining, so maybe I rated it a tad low, but I hail from fly-over country.
Well written and entertaining. Mr. Sautner obviously has fished alot and writes with a athourhity. Nevertheless he has a self depreciating style that lets his sense of humor and humility show through.
Great quality book, and good value.
