I bought the book not the kindle edition. This book was a waste of my money and I am returning it. There is NOTHING in it that can even remotely help me. I wish I would have found these reviews earlier. Anything in this book is just common sense and can be found on the internet. Such a waste, I was hoping for real life helpful information for as expensive as the book was.
This non-fiction book from The Mayo Clinic will inform, educate and open up different avenues of dealing with balance and better hearing in this medical book.The many different "helps" will guide the reader with different methods of treatment and pictured machines and hearing and balance tests for the reader to make up their own mind for a proper evaluation to guide the reader throughout this book.The reader will be educated to discover how many different treatment options are available and can be tailored to the problem of hearing and balance issues.
VERY interesting & helpful book. Lots of good info & "helpers" in it. Would recommend .
I found the book to be incredibly helpful in deciding what to do about my poor hearing. It helped me understand what is wrong with my hearing and was of great use getting ready for my visit to an audiologist--what tests they would run, what to expect, etc. Similar info is available on line in bits and pieces, but this book puts it all together so it's easy to understand and with nice graphics.
